Inter-State Ambulance Transfer

Outstation transfers, planned properly.

Long-distance patient transfer from the Klang Valley to every state in Peninsular Malaysia — hospital to hospital, hospital to home, or back to the hometown. Booked ahead, paramedic-crewed, monitored the whole way.

Four hours up the highway is still our patient. Crew, oxygen, monitoring and handover — the same standard at kilometre 300 as at kilometre one.

Planned transfers only — this is not a 999 emergency service. Code Blue EMS takes pre-booked outstation transfers for patients who are stable and fit to travel. If someone needs emergency help right now, call 999 first — then talk to us about the transfer once it is planned.

The fleet

The ambulance that shows up is ours.

Fully-liveried Code Blue EMS ambulances, crewed by our own people — the same vehicles that stand by at your event and carry your family home.

How booking works

From your first message to safe handover.

The same three steps whether you are booking a medic team for Saturday or an ambulance to Kota Bharu next Tuesday.

  1. 1

    Tell us the job

For an event: date, venue, crowd size and activity. For a transfer: pickup, destination, patient condition — oxygen-dependent, wheelchair-bound, ICU step-down, and the date you need.

  2. 2

    We quote and confirm

Package or route price, crew assignment, equipment list and timing — in writing, so there is no guessing on the day. Outstation pricing is quoted per route and negotiable for repeat and corporate bookings.

  3. 3

    We turn up ready

Event crews arrive and set up before the gates open. Transfer crews arrive at the booked time, move the patient, monitor throughout, and sign off at the destination.

FAQ

Event standby & transfers — your questions answered.

Common questions about event medical coverage and inter-state transfer. Still unsure? We'll answer in minutes on WhatsApp.

WhatsApp 019-317 1360

Do you take emergency (999) calls?

No. Code Blue EMS handles planned work only — event medical standby that is booked in advance, and pre-booked inter-state transfers for patients who are stable and fit to travel. If someone needs help right now, call 999. Once the situation is stable and a transfer is being planned, that is where we come in.

Which states do you cover for inter-state transfer?

All of Peninsular Malaysia, from a Klang Valley pickup. The common corridors are KL to Selangor / Putrajaya; Johor and the Singapore border; Perak, Penang, Kedah and Perlis; Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan; and Negeri Sembilan / Melaka. Return legs and reverse routes (e.g. Penang → KL) are available on prior booking — just tell us both ends.

How much does an inter-state transfer cost?

It depends on the route distance, the crew tier (BLS or ALS), equipment needs and the time of day. Send us pickup, destination, patient condition and date on WhatsApp and we'll come back with a firm price. Outstation rates are negotiable for repeat routes and corporate accounts.

What condition does the patient need to be in?

Stable and fit to travel — that is the line. Oxygen-dependent, wheelchair-bound and ICU step-down patients are all routine for us, and ALS (cardiac monitor, IV medication, ventilator) can be arranged on request. Tell us the full picture when you book and we'll tell you honestly whether it is a job we should take.

What's included in event medical standby?

Packages are built around the event: a paramedic-crewed ambulance, medical team, medic bike and treatment station, scaled to the crowd size and the risk. We do a risk assessment first, then propose coverage that fits your event size and budget — from a 5KM fun run to a multi-day festival.

How far in advance should I book?

The earlier the better — a proper risk assessment and crew assignment takes time, and popular weekends fill up. For transfers, we can usually schedule within days; for large events, give us as much notice as you can and we'll plan it properly.

What credentials does your crew hold?

Ambulance crews are accredited paramedics with BLS / ACLS training, registered with the Ministry of Health Malaysia and operating per the Private Healthcare Facilities & Services regulations. Event teams draw on experienced doctors, paramedics, nurses, EMTs and first responders depending on what the event needs.

Do you accept corporate billing?

Yes — corporate billing is supported for B2B accounts, which covers most event work. Private transfer clients typically pay direct (cash on completion, FPX or credit card). Some insurance reimbursement is available on a panel basis; ask when you book.

Do you still run CPR and first aid training?

Yes — that has moved to our training arm, codebluetrainings.com. Three half-day courses: CPR & AED, Basic Occupational First Aid, and Child First Aid — online payment or HRD Corp (HRDC) claimable.
